This night has been special.

We were a bunch of friends enjoying natural hotsprings bath under a full moon, when some northern lights activities suddenly appeared.

I had spent a 3 weeks trip in there in wintertime and did not see any. That was a special gift for me, because that was my last night in Whitehorse.

The sky in this picture really looked like this? It is so pretty. I wish I could see the northern lights like this.

Yes the sky is that beautiful. And some Northern lights are much more beautiful than this one.

The next winter (2011-12) should be a good one, because Northern lights come to a pic every 11 years. During this pics, some Northern lights can be seen far south (South USA for example). Then you have to go in the darkest place you know arround.

Thanks for the information. I can't wait now for next winter. I have not seen any northern lights this winter. I remember when I was a kid there was some really pretty one my mom would get me up to see. I last couple of them I have seen have not been very pretty at all. I really hope one day I can see one like the one in this picture.

Till then I will look at yours.
