Description
There is always aurora arround Saint-Patrick's day !
A very cold night with ice and snow, a strong Northern wind, the full moon, and finally an aurora : that made the scenery so bright !
The mirror of my camera froze and I had to put it under my coat for a while to warm it up before coming back to take photos. That's how you can watching auroras for hours ending up with only a few good shots.
I walked on the sea ice a hundred meters from the shore of the Saint-Lawrence river. This is something I would not advise to anybody but I know exactly the rocks keeping the ice pieces at that place and that was the high tide. Nothing moved but I could sometimes hear the crakling sounds of the ice under my feet... Scary !
The show was worth it though !

I would like to see northers lights, too someday.
